Why Stake With Consensus Networks?

Consensus Networks offers a hybridized, multi-cloud, multi-region network architecture optimized for blockchain applications. We have been supporting Kusama since September and are eager to serve you as a Validator on this 'Chaotic' Network and build the future of blockchain interoperability together.

What is Consensus Networks?

Simply put, blockchain infrastructure is what we do. We create custom, blockchain dedicated infrastructure optimized to the needs of Web3 technologies. Our multi-cloud, multi-region infrastructure is trusted by the DoD and NIH and we are excited to bring our LedgerOps expertise to Kusama to serve you as a Validator!

What is Kusama?

Affectionately referred to as 'Polkadot's Wild Cousin', Kusama is a canary network designed for developers to run experiments in a Polkadot like environment. Kusama is the proving ground for innovations that will be incorporated into Polkadot like upgradeable runtimes, on-chain governance, and parachains. Users can test out everything from politics, to their validator setup, and most definitely expect to encounter some chaos. Click here to learn more!

What is a Validator

A Validator is responsible for relaying transactions and proposing, verifying, and finalizing blocks on Kusama. We take our role as a Validator seriously and strive to provide the best service possible to those staking on our platform and the Kusama community as a whole. We know the maintenance and security of the network as a whole falls on us and are eager to serve this exciting role on Kusama.

Staking With Consensus

We truly appreciate you staking your KSM with us as we work to help rearchitect the future of interconnected blockchains.  In exchange for running a highly available, multi-region and multi-cloud sentry architecture for Kusama and being active community members on all fronts, we currently only charge a 5% commission for all of our block rewards, passing the rest along to you, our nominators.

Our Technical Specifications:

Our Validator node will be run out of our secure, data center infrastructure and have the following specs: 4 cores @ 3.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD, 100 MB internet. We have the ability to leverage both cloud and our own physical infrastructure, allowing us to create highly available, mutli-region & multi-cloud architectures for our secure validator deployment that we will transition to once Polkadot mainnet launches and we support both networks.
